Las Vegas Desert Tortoise Care General Meeting 1-3pm

Enjoy the Annual Tortoise Group Meeting at the Las Vegas Library including autumnal tortoise tips and the launch of an all new tortoisegroup.org.

It's the end of the tortoise season but there's still time to create habitats and plenty of tortoises to go around. We'll have adoption counselors at the meeting to answer questions and schedule yard consults.

Bring someone you think needs to adopt a tortoise and we'll help them through the process.

If you've been thinking about desert tortoise adoption this is a great time to make that happen and we're here to support you.

Have a care question we should answer at the meeting? Share it with us here!

Invite everyone you know!

See you there!

Protest of the National Finals Rodeo

We will be protesting the National Rodeo Finals in Las Vegas this year.

This will be a peaceful and educational protest.

Posters will be provided. If you choose to make your own, please do not use any profanity and make your lettering large and clear as we are not able to get close to the venue.

The Rodeo Finals are in town through December 13th. There will be additional protests throughout the period.
